The Waiting Game

Still waiting for paperwork on our next adoption. Have a homestudy done, currently being reviewed by our agency, they've had it at least a week. Seems that every time we reach another stage, I'm both desperate for it to be done quickly and also wanting it to take its natural course.

That's Eva to the right of a little girl, Faith, who has been home for six months now.

I don't have your e-mail addy to answer you. I like your idea...we do give allowances, but I'm not sure he will spend his money...but budgeting the trips to the store sound good.
We did do that with the older ones when they were little I just sort of forgot. The parent's cry around here is 'where did all this stuff come from?" and we are trying NOT to buy too much, but I can see how he views this...am I permanent or not?
Thanks
Chris

Thanks for your visits to my blog even though I hardly blog any longer. It's so hard with three kids driving them in all different directions.
I am trying to get better at it though.
I'm so excited about your upcoming adoption! I will try to check in more frequently.

it is such a roller coaster, ther eis the quick part(usually anytime the adopting family has to do anything, followed by the slow part(govt agencies) the dips come out of no where from bad rumors to other insanity, but the destination at the end of the ride is oh so sweet. Hope things progress well amongst all the craziness
